The St. Matthew extended day program was created to provide valuable assistance to the working families of St. Matthew Catholic School. Our goal is to provide activities within a Catholic environment, complimentary to the philosophy and value systems of our school.
Children are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities including a structured balance of play, creative activities, and completion of the homework that was assigned by their homeroom teachers. The children stay with their peer groups in their own grade levels under the supervision of a qualified and caring staff.
The extended day program is open to St. Matthew Catholic School students only. Admission is based on availability by grade level. Families can participate regularly in the program or choose to use the program as needed for a pro-rated fee.Before School Care Program: 6:45 am - 7:30 am
There is no charge for before school care.

A healthy after school snack is provided for all students in the extended day program.

Registration Fee - $30.00 per family (billed to your account)
Monthly Rate Information: Monthly rates are NOT prorated. Monthly charges will be billed through FACTS and due on the 15th of each month. There is no charge for August and May if a consistent monthly charge has been posted to your account from September to April. A 30 day written notice must be submitted prior to the month to drop.
Monthly Rates: September - April
$150.00 per month for 1 student
$250.00 per month for 2 students
$375.00 per month for 3 students or more
Hourly Drop-In Information: Charges begin August 17 through May 27 Charges are due on the 15th of each month and will be billed through FACTS.Hourly Rates: August - May
The fee is $10.00 per hour and fees are charged as follows:Students who arrive any time from their class dismissal time - 4:00 p.m. will be charged for one hour.4:01 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. will be charged as the second hour5:01 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. will be charged as the third hourPick up after 6:00 p.m. will be charged $5.00 per minute.
*PreK3 - 3rd dismissal time 3:20 p.m. 4th-8th grade - 3:40 p.m.
No grace period is allowed for Extended Day charges after 6:00 p.m.

Use and Billing Policy: Parents who do not wish to participate in the Extended Day Program should pick up their child(ren) before 3:20(Pre-K – 3rd) and/ or 3:40 p.m. (Grades 4-8), or 12:30 p.m. (early release days), in order to avoid this minimum one hour charge. Sibling pick-up will follow (Grades 4-8). Parents not signing their child(ren) out will be billed for 3 hours. Switching between plans is permitted once per academic year as a one-time courtesy, provided a 30-day written notice is submitted.
